Thank you for supporting Birmingham Dogs Home’s 2020 “It’s been a ruff year” Christmas Appeal.
It has been a challenging year for us all and particularly for our team of dedicated staff who have continued to care for homeless dogs throughout the months of lockdown.
We will be here on Christmas day too and with your support we can make it a special day for all of our four-legged friends still waiting for their forever homes, by raising funds for them all to have a Christmas Dinner.
Covid 19 has had a huge impact for BDH and as the uncertainty of 2021 lies ahead, we would be grateful if you would consider becoming a BDH Friend by donating just a pound a week. Knowing we have regular support means we can plan ahead, in the knowledge that we can continue to care for homeless dogs that need us next year.
Instead of sending a Christmas card this year, send a festive message or make a dedication to someone you love by putting a pawprint bauble on our virtual charity Christmas tree. You can share this with all of your friends and family. An environmentally and covid friendly way to send festive greetings and support Birmingham Dogs Home at the same time.
Boxing Day is the perfect time to go for a walk with your family members, including your waggy tailed ones.
This year why not set yourself a challenge and help to raise some awareness and vital funds for BDH at the same time.
Set yourself a target or dress up in Christmas doggie jumpers. Have fun and support our Canine Carers who will be walking every single one of our dogs on Boxing Day too (and every day of the year of course).
You can set up your own fundraising page on JustGiving.
We would love to accept filled shoe boxes of treats and toys for our dogs this Christmas.
We will let you know as soon as we are able to receive them.
Please do start collecting for us and we will make sure every dog has a special treat this year to make their Christmas day special.
60% of profits from every order is donated to BDH from our fabulous partners at Goodstitch. All products are made and despatched in a sustainable way.
