In our 5th year holding this event at Walsall Arboretum, we are pleased to let our supporters know that it helped raise over £6,300 for all the dogs in our care. This is a phenomenal amount which will do such much for the ongoing care that we carry out to stray dogs in the local area.

This event brings like-minded dog lovers together to celebrate everything canine! Scheduled walks take place from 9:30 am and continue until 11 am around a picturesque 3km route. We get dogs from all different breeds and sizes – everyone is welcome, and there is plenty of room.

At the start of the event dogs attending the walk are given their free bandana to wear with pride and receive their free goody bag at the end of the walk which is worth over £15. Upon the return to the event area, there is then lots of time to shop at our stalls which has everything from doggie biscuits to something for yourself and also our very popular Pet ‘Pawtraits’ with Jennifer Jefferies.

A great day out for all the family and your four-legged friends.

We have quite a lot of thank you’s to give out for this event too. To our amazing volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to come and help out, these events could not happen without your support. At this event alone we had over 40 volunteers, we had 10 from Co-op and also help from Pets at Home in Erdington – thank you to each and every one of you.

Also a big thank you to our amazing photographer, Jenni Jefferies, who spends hours taking the most amazing photos of your beautiful dogs and then spends hours editing them before sending them back to us. We are extremely grateful for your continued support and hard work.

To everyone who baked your delicious creations, the dogs and their owners loved them! Thank you so much for taking time baking for our stray dogs – our ‘Bark Off’ stand was very popular and helped raise lots of money.

To all our stall holders, thank you for joining us and we hope you had a great day!

But finally, a big thank you to the event sponsors Ancol Pet Products who have supported this event for five years now. You have helped tremendously in helping to build this event year by year and to raise vital awareness for our charity – thank you for all your support.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us.

We hope to see you all again next year – Sunday 7th June 2020.
