We're sure you have all been waiting for an update on this gorgeous boy. We didn’t want to stress him out with so much camera footage so we have waited an extra week to give you this update.
He is doing extremely well, looking healthy, eating well and his sores have healed which means that it is time for him to go on his next journey of rehab and start hydrotherapy.
We are extremely grateful to all the team at J-K9 in Coleshill for allowing Kermit to have his treatment free of charge - Kermit really enjoyed his first session with them and the facilities were great, thank you!
Hydrotherapy is used to help muscle strengthening, increase motion, improve circulation and promote relaxation. Kermit struggles to lift his own body weight when he first arrived and we felt that this would help him get the extra strength that he needs to be able to live his life to the full.
He loved every moment of it and is looking forward to continue if his sessions until he is ready to go out to his new loving home...which shouldn’t be too long.
Kermit has grown from strength to strength and we have seen a huge improvement in his health and character. He is pleasure to be around and is always looking for fuss and attention - a true charmer you might say!!!
We can’t thank you all enough for your ongoing support for this handsome fella - we couldn’t have done it without your help and it truly means the world to our team.
We will certainly let you know once he will be looking for a new home.
