Further to the government’s decision to impose a second coronavirus lockdown in England from 5th November, to limit all social contact to reduce the spread of coronavirus, Birmingham Dogs Home will now be implementing the following emergency protocols for the protection of all of our supporters and staff colleagues.
Our Birmingham and Wolverhampton centres remain closed to the general public and we will no longer be booking appointments for any services.
Unfortunately this means that we are not currently able to rehome any of our dogs until further notice.
Our boarding and grooming services are suspended.
If you are already in the process of making arrangements to rehome one of our dogs, a member of our rehoming team will be in touch to discuss this with you.
Our team are dedicated to the work they do and continue to provide the care our dogs needs on a daily basis. We are following all official guidance to minimise risk and ensure the safety of our staff.
We would like to thank all of our supporters and the local community for their continued support, without which we would be unable to continue to help homeless dogs from across our region during these uncertain times. We will keep you updated on how our dogs are over the coming weeks via social media.
If you are responsibly surrendering a dog please speak to one of our team members on the numbers below who will advise you of the procedures.
