During the financial year of 2018, we were fortunate enough to be the chosen charity for Dains Accountants.

Throughout the year, they held networking events, a tuck shop in their kitchen and had collection tins at their offices in Colemore Row in Birmingham which together helped raised over £2,600 for the dogs in our care.

We can't thank the team enough for their support. Digital Marketing Officer, Rachel Frost had the pleasure in meeting the partners at the Colemore offices with Education Dog Reeva who was extremely happy to sit on their sofa for a photoshoot.

Andrew Donaldson, Forensic Accountancy Partner, said: “All of us here at Dains are so proud to be an active part in our communities and this is why we chose Birmingham Dogs Home as our charity for the past 12 months.

“The amazing work they do cannot be understated and any donation, no matter how big or how small, can make a massive difference to a dog that needs to be nursed back to health.

“We have had a great time raising money for the charity and are so thrilled to be able to make this donation to support its fantastic work.”

Staff members also volunteered some of their time and spent a day or two at our Birmingham Centre and spending quality time with the dogs that they were fundraising to help.

Jack Davis, who joined our team at Birmingham, said “It was a great experience! Thank you and all the staff for the support and the opportunity to work alongside them for a day!

Support like this makes a big difference to all the dogs in our care; it enables us to have fully trained staff to help dogs that need extra support before they can look for their new homes.

A big thank you to all the team for their hard work and support in raising this phenomenal amount for the care of our dogs.
