Further to the government's most recent announcment regarding tier restrictions across England, our centres at Birmingham and Wolverhampton are both within tier 4 category. Therefore, Birmingham Dogs Home will be implementing the following emergency protocols for the protection of our supporters and staff colleagues.

Our Birmingham and Wolverhampton centres remain closed to the general public and we will no longer be booking appointments for any services other than grooming which is permissible for welfare purposes.

Unfortunately, this means that we are not currently able to rehome any of our dogs until further notice.

Our boarding services are suspended for the time being. We are also unable to receive donations of goods delivered in person.  However please do keep hold of any items you would like to donate, and we will be very grateful to receive them when government guidance allows.

If you are already in the process of making arrangements to rehome one of our dogs, a member of our rehoming team will be in touch to discuss this with you.

Our team are dedicated to the work they do and continue to provide the care our dogs needs on a daily basis.  We are following all official guidance to minimise risk and ensure the safety of our staff.

Emergency Relinquishments

If you need to relinquish a dog please speak to one of our team on one of the numbers below who will advise you of procedures.

Birmingham Tel: 0121 643 5211 | bdhreception@birminghamdogshome.org.uk

Wolverhampton Tel: 01902 790618 | sunnyside@birminghamdogshome.org.uk

We would like to thank all of our supporters and the local community for your continued support, without which we would be unable to continue to help homeless dogs from across our region during these uncertain times.
