Birmingham 10k runners help raise over £2,900 for our stray dogs!

Back in May, we were calling all runners, dog lovers and anyone wishing to get fit, to join our team and take part in the Birmingham 10k.

Just over 6 miles long, this route took our team around Birmingham and helped give our charity much-needed awareness and raised vital funds for the dogs in our care.

We had 18 runners for the event and they were a fantastic team. Everyone was there to help each other and give tips and advice months before the run took place - they were part of a running family, and all doing it for the dogs.

It was fantastic to see so many runners on the course cheering each other on and encouraging one another - it really was a team effort.

We would just like to take this time to say thank you to everyone that supported our dogs and really worked hard to get fit and have fun.

Well done everyone!

If you would like to be apart of our running team we are now putting together a team for the Birmingham Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 13th October in Birmingham.
