Windy Arbor School Council, which is made up of four pupils from the school, decided it was time to support a local charity and with BDH being just 10 minutes up the road and keen animals lovers in the school, we were their chosen charity! We were thrilled to receive a phone call letting us know that they had raised the funds to help with the day-to-day care of our stray dogs.

To help the pupils understand just how much these funds meant to our charity, Community Fundraiser Rachel Frost and Education Dog Reeva, went in to hold an Assembly to explain all about our Charity but also about the importance of keeping safe around dogs and responsible ownership.

Whilst our team were there they also got to hear about how the pupils came up with ideas on how to fundraise and just how much fun they had – it is always great to see their faces light up knowing that they have helped stray dogs in need.

A very big thank you to all the pupils for their hard work and dedication – it means so much to our dogs.
